Birgit Effinger ist Kunsthistorikerin und leitet gemeinsam mit Hannah Kruse das Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt art IT, ein Postgraduiertenprogramm zur künstlerischen Berufspraxis.
Darüber hinaus schreibt Effinger für Kataloge und Zeitschriften zu folgenden Themen:
Professionalisierung in den Künsten, aktuelle Kunst und ihre Diskurse sowie zu Fragen des politischen und ästhetischen Handelns. |

While in New York, Matthew Antezzo established a cosmos of cultural memory with his paintings and drawings (based on preexisting photographs) of conceptual artists and inventors, whose legacies were otherwise ephemeral and abstract. During a sojourn in Monterey, Mexico, he added a sculptural dimension to his practice and oeuvre, which, in addition to large poured-concrete works, yielded abstract drawings and related string-works. More recently photography and film have come occupy the foreground of his art.
After stints in LA and New York, John Kleckner joined the Berlin art scene in 2007. His work, composed mainly of watercolor, ink, and paper-based drawings, was characterized by Holland Cotter as “phantasmagorically exquisite” – with the proviso that it is “a little too raunchy to be ‘poetic’ in any conventional way, which is what makes it nice.” |

| Ulrike Ottinger ist Filmemacherin, Malerin und Fotokünstlerin. Sie erhielt zahlreiche Preise, darunter den Bundesfilmpreis und den Hannah-Höch-Preis.
